Kishoreganj District Cricket is moving forward with a big dream — to build a model cricket academy that will help young players grow, learn, and shine. This dream is not just for us, but also to inspire many other districts across the country. Our journey has been full of hard work, planning, and determination, and we believe our struggle will motivate others to follow the same path.
For many years, Kishoreganj has been home to talented young cricketers. But most of them did not get the proper facilities, training, or coaching they deserved. Seeing their passion, we realized that building a cricket academy was not just an option — it was a need. So we began working step by step, even when our resources were limited.

First, we started by improving our cricket ground. Young players, coaches, and volunteers cleaned the field, prepared the pitch, and created a better environment for practice. Their dedication showed that progress does not always require big budget — it requires big hearts.
Then, we began planning what a model cricket academy should include. We want proper coaching for all age groups, better training equipment, fitness programs, indoor nets, and educational workshops for player development. We also hope to create a space where young players can learn discipline, teamwork, and respect for the game.
Despite challenges, we continued moving forward. We received support from the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), and their encouragement gave us more confidence. Every small achievement — a new pitch, improved ground conditions, organized training — became a symbol of our commitment.
Our struggle is simple but strong: we want to give young cricketers a better future. We want them to feel proud that they come from Kishoreganj. And we want other districts to see that if we can do it, they can do it too.

A model cricket academy is not built in one day. It takes effort, unity, and passion. But we are not giving up. We are working every day, step by step, to turn this dream into reality.
Kishoreganj’s journey is an example that progress begins when people believe in themselves. Our hard work will inspire many districts to start building their own training centers and academies. Together, this will help develop better cricket across the nation.
We are moving forward with hope — and we invite everyone to join us in this mission. Because when one district rises, the whole country’s cricket rises with it.
